ResumeMatch does not collect, store, or retain:

• Your resume text or content
• Job posting text you analyze
• Analysis results or fit scores
• Personal information (name, email, phone, address)
• Account credentials (no accounts are required)

All resume and job posting text is processed in real-time and discarded after your session ends. We do not maintain a database of user submissions.

Information We May Collect

To operate and improve the service, we may collect limited, non-identifying information:

• Usage analytics: Page views, feature usage patterns, session duration (aggregated and anonymized)
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, operating system, screen resolution
• Error logs: Technical error information to diagnose and fix issues

Cookies & Tracking

We may use essential cookies to ensure the website functions properly. If we use analytics services, they may set their own cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising targeting or cross-site tracking.

Third-Party Services

ResumeMatch uses third-party AI services to process text analysis. When you submit text for analysis, it is sent to our AI provider for processing. The AI provider does not store your input data beyond the processing window. We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

Advertising

ResumeMatch may display advertisements through Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity across websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or through tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Since we do not store your resume or analysis data, there is no persistent data to breach.

Children's Privacy

ResumeMatch is designed for university students and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
